Emma Watson was born in Paris, France, the daughter of English lawyers. She lived in France until the age of five. Then her parents divorced when she was young so she move back to England with her mother in Oxforshire.
When she was six she wanted to become an actress and trained in a school of arts in Oxford, a part-time theatre school where she studied singing, dancing, and acting.
At the age of ten she had performed in many productions and school plays but she never did anything professionally before the Harry Potter series as Hermione Granger.
When she finished school she took a gap year to film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. In 2014 she graduated from Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in English literature.
Watson also has promoted education for girls, and women’s rights over the world.
